The official public presentation of EUSA 3x3 Basketball Championship occurred this morning, in a ceremony with many organizing entities.

In an emblematic moment, the City Councilor of Porto, Dra. Catarina Araújo, and the President of Organizing Committee, João Pedro Videira, have publicly signed the competition protocols.

The ceremony opened with Dra. Catarina Araújo’s speech, who said that for Porto sports are a priority, and also mentioned the importance of physical activity in personal development.

About the 3x3 Basketball, the president of FADU (Portuguese Federation of University Sports) remembered that it will debut as an Olympic Game in the Summer Games of Tokyo.

In the last speech of the ceremony, the President of Organizing Committee, João Pedro Videira, praised the Sports power to unite nations and ended choosing four fundamental words: Team Spirit, Human Rights, Cooperation and Altruism.

To end the ceremony, the protocols were signed, and the competition official video was shown to everyone.
